I’m not one for New Year’s resolutions, but this year I did intend to blog more. Apparently I’ve already cast that aside to catch up. Lesson plans, various guild workshops, step outs and scheduling are all a little more in line now that I’m a few weeks in from vacation.
Today I’ll be working on step outs for the improvisational curves class Sunday at Drygoods.
It gives me an excuse to play a little more. Practice includes figuring out what NOT to do when messing with a technique. If you join me in the workshop I can show you how to avoid making your curves look like droopy boobs:) LOL.

I’m ready to hate you! I’ve been piecing for more than 40 years and never have managed those curves. But have achieved saggy boobs…the privileges of becoming the family matriarch.

If I lived there I would take your class just for that droopy boob comment!

Lucky enough to be attending your class on Sunday, thanks to my daughter-in-law, Mihkai, who purchased this for me for Christmas. What a great idea. Now there may be hope of my getting that Apple Core quilt done I started 10 years ago!!

Yeah! See you Sunday!

Hi, Katie. Love your work and will be visiting my daughter in Ballard from mid March through mid April. Wondering what your teaching schedule might look like then. Do you have it set yet? Thanks.

Wow, you have mad sewing skills. I am actually thinking about getting a sewing machine so I can practice making clothes. I love to sew. I made all my curtains by hand and have even made some blankets for my cousins babies. I am going to follow your blog now so I can figure out how to use a sewing machine. If your into sci-fi check out my blog about my upcoming book 🙂 http://lisamarieziccardi.wordpress.com/
