::Saturday Project/ Robot Pillow::

I wanted to provide Roan with a comfy reading area in his bedroom.  I decided to make his bed more couch like and picked up a body pillow from Macy’s Martha Stewart line to cover.

My new sewing machine and I were in battle this morning, but I was determined to finish this pillow and get one of my many projects finished.  I hate its zipper foot by the way.

I was a bit disappointed in the final sizing of the cover.  I used my measurements and the tag measurements, but I think the stuffing is wonky and threw the measurements off a bit.  I’ll probably take it in a tad on the sides at a time when I’m less annoyed.

Better pictures too are needed.

I love the back, mostly because I’m obsessive about flannel.  The Moda Sock Monkey called Texture is delicious.  I have it in pink and the brown.  It is a nice alternative to a solid.

Luckily my little buddy doesn’t obsess over perfection like I do and has already taken to it.

    your blog name is so very original that I had to pop in and see what you are all about.
    Ok, you are about being so clever. I love the “sofa” design.

    I love this idea!!!! When Pk moves to a “big girl” bed, I will have to experiment with it (although I doubt my results will be anywhere near as nice)
