::Finally::

March 17, 2009 By Katie

Remember how I said I was not starting any new projects until my pile was finished?  I’m getting there.

I sat down last night once everyone was in bed, and FINALLY pieced together these bits.  The linen was a leftover and the bits are scraps.

The idea came from Last-Minute Patchwork + Quilted Gifts.  It’s the Little Bits quilt.

I’ll be doing some tweeking to make it my own, but just getting the thing off my design wall made me feel rather accomplished!  This might be the front of a wedding quilt, it might be the back.  I need to stew on it for a moment.

    I know how you feel….I am not starting anything new until I make the quilt with all of my blocks from the cottage QB. I finally got all of them in the mail so I am getting ready to piece the front together.

    I love how your quilt it looking….so awesome.

    Good for you! It’s nice to get some of the old stuff completed. I am trying to do the same. Unfortunately I always forget where I left off and it takes me double the time to get in the rhythm again….I suck!

    Now I just ordered some more linen, and I’ve been trying to decide what to use my Katie Jump Rope for. I think I have something to add to the list of WIPS – thanks for that, Katie!
