I’m sure I’m not alone…3:30 am, your child wakes you up to be “tucked in,” or maybe if you are lucky, one of those sweet, “I love yous.” But, you are awake, and the monkey brain switches on, or the hamster starts running the wheel. Often for me this is sewing related. It could be worse I guess.
So I get up and start my day. How about a little sewing?
Thanks for the bird Joree (Nine Fireflies), I miss you my friend! I believe it is Summer in the City. The flowers are one of the first FQs I ever bought. I really wanted this to be framed since it was so dark as a center. I had thought to continue enlarging it all to make it 12.5 inches, but it seemed to want to stay. I think it’s my favorite so far.
On the bird fabric swap front, there’s some items in the mail. Tula Pink’s Nest is coming from Julie at Needles (the other kind), and some Alexander Henry Birdseed is on its way from SunnyNole (Oceans of Creativity), who is also doing a bird quilt for Sew Connected 3. Great minds think alike, eh?
Anyone else interested in the “For the Birds Swap”? Gee, we need someone with some organizational skills and a button.
