Squeezed in a block before my run last night.
That makes five. Need to work a bit on the wedding quilt and some birthday pillows today. Here’s the flock so far:
We had margaritas last night on the porch with a friend from Flagstaff, that now lives in Redmond. He is also keeper of my old girl, Fe Dog. She and I spent ten glorious years together before baby and city life. We found each other at the pound in Detroit on my 25th birthday. She lived with me in Ann Arbor, moved to Flagstaff, traveled all over the country and drove through out Mexico together.
Seattle leash life was not her liking, nor small babies…so sadly, back to Flagstaff she went to live with her other love, my friend Doug. Now she’s lived in Bend and Portland. I think Redmond will be her resting place. It was so nice to see her, but she’s sooooo old and scrappy. She’ll stay with us for a few days next week.
Have a SUNSHINE filled Saturday. That’s what I’m wishing for!
Love them! I want to make some!
I think the Paloma is my fav so far.
Mmmmm… Ritas…. it has been the perfect weather for them down here. I have the limes chillin in the fridge and I think I may run to Richey’s for the booze.
What time are you coming over?
^_^
Miss you!
awwwww. what a sweet face! i really love the feature of the birds!
That is going to be such a great quilt! I love all the different prints you are using!
The flock is looking good 🙂 So far my favs are the 3rd & 4th one, but I do like them all, and I love the theme. I’m looking forward to the end result!
How fun! Each block looks great; my favorite is #3.
What a sweet doggie! Nice you get to spend time with her.
Gorgeous dog, she looks like she’s very content! I love the birds, they are fabulous, you really have a knack for putting fabric together as all the blocks look fantastic. I REALLY love block 3, the birdie and the raindrop fabrics are fantastic. I’ve been searching for that fabric, but no luck! Margheritas are my all time fave drink, have a few for me next time. Kelly 🙂
friendships like that are just so rare and precious!!! no – priceless!
Obviously in the picture you can’t see her warts, missing hair and dandruffed skin, but I love her.
Wow–running AND sewing! You’re my hero.
I love how these squares are turning out!
I love all of your blocks. I’ve always wanted to try something like a block a day with my scrap fabric, but it just seems too overwhelming and I couldn’t stand to keep my sewing mess out in my craft room overnight, so I’ve shied away from trying it. But, now that I see your blocks, I can totally imagine coming up with a scrappy block quilt from my stash like this 🙂
I always love quilting blocks. It makes you feel so accomplished with minimum effort really.
Those blocks are all equally lovely, each one looks so diverse from the last even though they’re all done in the same blocky fashion….CLEVER.!
these blocks are so wonderful! i love the fabric combinations so very much!
Great job on the bird blocks. They are coming along nicely.
