The piecing was so so. Once I invested in a single hole plate and a different quarter inch foot things went smoothly.
I should say this machine has a build in Walking Foot!
Quilting is where my battle began and has continued. The machine quilting is fine on the back of the quilt, but the front is pushed. The ladies in the shop must cringe when they see me coming. It’s not the first time I’ve quilted anything and it is extremely frustrating that after piecing a precise quilt top the stitching ruins my quilt! This quilt I basted with over 300 pins to keep it from shifting. But LOOK! Arghhhhhh!!!! And this isn’t even the worst bit on the quilt.
Their excuse this time is I was sewing on the bias, in which case I wasn’t on certain parts of the quilt and it was still tucking and pushing. Does anyone out there have this machine? My only thought is to write the owner. But I’m curious what you would do? Anyone out there have a machine they wouldn’t part with?
