Better late than never! Check us out! When I logged in on Friday we have ran, walked and biked over a thousand miles! I’ve even managed to earn my miles by walking from shopping downtown with my sisters-in-laws to Capitol Hill for dinner. It’s nice when you can sprinkle in a lemon drop and frites along the route!
We figured out how you can view the team too. Drop Jacquie or me an email and we’ll send you the information.
How are you all doing? Are you having problems with your feet hitting the machine pedal rather than the pavement? Quit thinking about it and just do it.
Need some incentive to reach your goal this week? Jacquie and I will be giving away a scrap bag each! We’ll draw from the comments of qualifying team members on Friday. So hit the road!
P.S. I have a space in my invisible zipper pillow class at the Quilting Loft on this Tuesday night from 6-9 if this is a skill you want to learn.
ugh – all this talk of fitness 🙂 seriously I have decided this week I need to lose some weight and get back in shape (which I fear means no more beer – hey that rhymes!). I’m turning 36 on Friday – need to get in shape before I can’t anymore…
I’m loving my time at the gym and even got to count the 1.5 mile hike my husband and I did through a cavern this weekend. It was so great to be hiking in 68 degree F conditions and not have to be on a treadmill ; ) (it’s 105F here in Texas!)
looks like some yummy fabrics in that bag! I am sweating up a storm these days. Thanks ladies!
You’re not going to believe this because I barely do. I was viciously attacked by a dog 6 days ago when trail running and I’m still recovering. I can only walk for short periods of time (around the house, the grocery, etc.) It’s put a dent in my mileage logged, I can tell you. Here’s to hoping that I’m the only injury on this team! The worst part is I really don’t feel much like sewing either…. bummer.
i’ve been walking or riding every day, but i need to log it in! i just got my pedometer in the mail this week! i’m only going a couple of miles a day, but it’s more than i was doing before! i’m excited to do a quilt from my *mile* pieces! my oldest son is 25 and is very fit and is always worried about my health, so i’m making the quilt for him for christmas. one piece of fabric for every mile… he’s going to love it. his grandmother went legally blind from her lasix surgery and can’t make him quilts anymore. i’ve taken up quilting but i haven’t made him one yet. i’m so excited to give it to him and to get into better shape along the road…
