Lazy is the word that comes to mind. I did make my goal this week and hope you were successful at getting moving as well.
The Northern Irish clan and the rest of the family enjoyed our last weekend together at a special spot for all of us on the Sound. As a family we’ve built many a found memory at this spot, including our wedding. With kids in the picture its become even more memorable.
See that hammock? That’s where I planted myself a majority of the time. I must say, it’s not as relaxing to lounge in when three kids are added.
So when I got sick of the monkey business I sat here.
No bits were sewn together, but as I worked on not moving my butt in these spots, I sewed down the most perfectly picked binding.
Delicious.
I did do some kayaking with my honey. Roan even paddled in the shallows (I know, no life jacket, don’t worry we were right there in the shallows).
In our family we would call me a S.B., that stands for Spoiled Brat.
Back to the regularly scheduled program now that their gone. Sniff sniff.
How are your goals and is there any sewing happening? I still need to work that out.
Judy was the winner of the scrap pack this time. Send me your address and I’ll ship it out. We’ll add another prize in a few weeks.
Our government site is either failing us, or we’ve managed to transverse the country several times…perhaps we’re walking backwards because now we only have 273 miles???? Anyone know of another site we can use?
I finally logged in my miles. On the days I go to the boxing gym I can work the bike and the elpitical machines and count the miles. (It is way too hot here in Southern Louisiana for outside work just yet!)
I need to figure out how to log in 45 minutes of boxing work into the “miles”.
If I go and box regularly I can lose about 5 lbs a week, but if I eat a carb load meal, I don’t. I really really really wanted that blackberry cobbler tonight. And I did it.
Aughhh! But I will be boxing again on Monday, and work it off.

This week flew by at lightning speed. I didn’t meet my fitness goals. And I just now remember that I hadn’t logged my miles on the site either. Oops. Maybe next week will be better.
That porch looks mighty inviting!
I think I remember it!!!!
Could it be an issue of adding new people (such as myself)? When a new person is added, does it bump everyone back to zero?
