::Wonking Out::

The end of Summer is here.  I actually got mad when I heard someone say that on the radio the other day…but it’s true.  There are new things to look forward to though and more time teaching is certainly one of them.

We started the Improvisational Patchwork Series at Fabric Crush last night with wonky stars.  It was a load of fun.  My favorite is seeing everyone’s stars up on the design wall.

…and the fun of returning students bringing skills from the last classes with them.

Our  next improvisational workshop is on strip piecing.  Come join us on Tuesday the 21st of September from 5:45-7:45pm to learn some tips and hints with this technique.  Make on or make a few, and follow up with a quilting basics or finishing class with Ahava.

  1. Dolly says:

    You got mad ‘cuz someone said summer’s almost over?

    That’s funny…….my hubby’s favorite way to rile me is to tell me on June 22 that the days are all going to get shorter from here !

    Oh, that makes me so mad ! No, not short, and dark and cloudy, and cold !
