::Sunday Stash/Organize Thyself::

Hello there beautiful machine…it was love at first stitch!

You might remember my old machine ailments.  In celebration of a new machine and two finished quilts (Sorry can’t show you), I did a little late Summer clean up.

This is where I store all my yardage.  On the opposite side of this walk through closet are the Fat Quarters.

I have a little problem…I won’t show my you my “clothing” closet.

Happy Sunday!

Hi Katie, glad to see you got a Bernina!! Which one is it, a 430 or a 630? can’t quite tell. I love mine. hope you don’t have any more problems. I am off for my run!!

    1. I went with a 430. So happy!

I am thinking about getting a Bernina. I hear such great things about them. They always seem to have the best stitches in quilting classes.

Oh heck! Now you are making me wonder if I am just blaming myself for my Pfaff’s inadequacies………………..
Is it really true that Bernina’s are so much better?

    1. Hated my Pfaff, but there are good Pfaffs out there.

I’m feeling a little stash envy seeing all that gorgeous fabric. That’s a great way to organize it, though. Much better than my current method of stuffing things into tote bags, then stuffing the bags into the closet.
    Have fun!

wow…i have stash envy…and a slight case of machine envy too! i love my janome, but that BSR sure would be great too 🙂

Good for you on all counts! Can’t wait to see what kind of mishchief comes from it ~

  9. Love the vertical storage! Do you use cardboard or anything to stiffen it?

    1. Nope, it’s purely too much fabric that helps it stay vertical.

your stash looks so gorgeous folded up like that! and i’m seriously jealous of your great fabric shelves.

  11. ahh! Great choice on the Bernina.
    “Nothing Sews Like a Bernina!”

Now that is some serious fabric stashing!

I love the Tulip Amy Butler print you show on your machine. Do you happen to know if there is anymore from that line out there? I think it’s called Sunbloom. I wish it would come out again- I love the colors!

    1. It is from the Sunbloom line that she did with Kokka. I wish I would have hoarded a ton! I’ve only seen it ridiculously priced on ebay.

  13. Wooho! You got a new machine!! (It is actually the same exact one I have 🙂 Are you loving it? 🙂

    1. Can’t even tell you how awesome it is…of course you already know!
