My hubbie looks at real estate online and I cruise fabric. Generally I like to seek out old Alexander Henry lines.
The swimming ladies are still pretty easy to find. Roan picked it out for his swim teacher that is extra special and we made some potholders for a Christmas gift.
I stumbled upon these Alexander Henrys the other day at a normal price. There is someone on Ebay that wants around $17 a Fat Quarter…I just can’t imagine wanting fabric that much.
Happy Sunday! Time to go watch some Phinneas and Ferb and eat french toast. I love Sunday.

Love it!
How much per FQ? I am definitely in the wrong business!
love it.. you’re right though.. not for 17 bucks.. just sayin”
What a cute present!
Wow I can’t imagine paying 17 for a fat quarter… Craaazy!
My husband thinks I should play the “fabric market,” you know like the stock market. I would buy fabric ahead of time that would eventually be valuable, and then turn around and sell it for $17/fat quarter.
Like I would be able to predict that…or want to sell it if it really did turn out to be that valuable…
It would be nice, seems everyone has an etsy shop with their overflowing out of print stash…
I love those fabrics, especially the car one! You are such a good mama making swim teacher gifts 🙂 I was just thinking about you and thought I would stop by and say hi.
I love Alexander Henry also. My favs are the tattoo girls, wow! When I made my black, white and red quilt I wanted them for a backing, but never found them.

After watching Phinneas and Ferb with Roan, I like it.
Great stash! I blame my interest in Alexander Henry partly on you – and I do keep coming back here for more inspiration…
; )
Sometimes there is a fine line when obsessing over fabric. Better stay on the sane side.
better than a drug habit.
P & F sounds like my weekend + Spongebob that is. Love those cars!
i love the cars too. i tried to comment on your blog but it wouldn’t let me…
I have yards (like 3) of a vintage AH print. It is a jungle theme with muddy, earthy colours, not bright likethe ones you are showing. I don’t want it – I was hoping to find someone who would. I’ll see if I can dig a photo up if you are interested.
S:)
I love the swimmer fabric too. I also thought it was funny because my husband looks at real estate as much as I surf quilting blogs. 🙂 At least my fabric is cheaper than land. hahaha
Happy Birthday!!! yeah! and wow are you young!
