After the high of my Father-In-Law’s kidney transplant our family has had quite a roller coaster ride. Spiraling began with a virus the kidney came with, then a heart attack and on top of it all, a lung infection that’s not responding to antibiotics. He’s been in ICU since the 1st with his three boys and my Mother-In-Law taking 4 hour shifts.
Thanks to those of you that have known what’s going on and communicated good thoughts.
It’s been nail biting. As usual I’ve been trying to keep busy. I’ve engaged myself in early Spring Cleaning. All those things that got pushed into random spaces while I was working on the book are now freshly reorganized or gone.
Then I looked to my fabric. I couldn’t possible use it all in a lifetime. So it’s destash time. I’ll be listing it throughout the week.
Most will be out of print. I’ve tried to list it at what I see it going for on Etsy. I’d like the prices to be more reasonable, but I got hosed last time with someone turning it for big dough.
Those that aren’t out of print will be a good price.
My most favorite Alexander Henry called Whisper Wing.
Joel Dewberry Woodgrain and its coordinates.
and of course some Kaffe Fasset.
Destash is here and if you want to see more photos of the boy oop charm squares they are here.
Have a great weekend.

Sorry to hear about you father-in-law, sometimes these things need patience and a lot of healing. Will keep him in my thoughts for getting better.
Just checked out your destash … it all looks lovely! I’ll have to see if there’s something I can’t LIVE without.
Katie…so sorry to hear about your father in law. keeping you all in my thoughts.
Keeping him in my thoughts and prayers.
Oh man, still?
If you’ve got any tips on the book/family stress management let me know.
Sorry to hear about your father-in-law. That’s got to be difficult for everyone at your house.
Thanks Cathy. Did you make it to the sew-in?
Thinking of you and your family. It’s hard to concentrate at these times, but keeping busy is a good thing…
Oh, Katie. I’m so sorry to hear about your FIL. I can imagine the stress, and remember very well from last summer what it is like to sit vigil in the ICU with my mother. The stress on a family is indescribable. I will be sending all of you thoughts of healing and strength.
Thanks Lady. He actually made it out of ICU! Amazing us as always. xo
You know I’ve been thinking about your FIL ever since you posted this. I’m so psyched to read above that he’s out of ICU! Thanks for stopping by to comment over on my blog so I could remember to come back here! Sending your family strength and healing for what lies ahead. Anyone in the ICU that long has got to be VERY tired and need lots of support.
thanks christina!
