Classes and workshops, fabrics, half triangle square quilt

::Whatcha doing Wednesday Night?::

I’ve got a half square triangle class on the books at the Quilting Loft.

This class is so great for learning good technique when it comes to perfect points and matching seams, not to mention the endless design options this block offers.

I’m looking forward to quilting this zig zag with a zig zag.

I added another ‘What Little Boys are Made of’ Charm pack to my Etsy shop, that’s what these quilts are made with.  Loads of fun out of prints.  Got some girl packs in the works too.  I know I mentioned a value quilt along…maybe I need to get my tail in gear for that.

    I SO wish I could fly out to your class! I am new to quilting and I really struggle with lining up the HSTs! I am a perfectionist so I end up just getting frustrated and reverting back to my trusty squares 🙂

    I’ve been loving HST quilts myself lately. There are so many possibilities!

    i would love to take that class! i just discovered that you could make more than pinwheels with HST! i am probably behind everyone else in that, but it was a nice discovery. 🙂

  5. Wonderful! I love that quilt! What color is your background fabric??? It really sets off those “little boy” prints. I love how you randomly did the rows of zig zags. Really creative!
