When to hold them and when to fold them, and I’m folding on the Anything Goes Quilt for awhile.
All that work on this with the extra blocks and I just couldn’t force the inspiration. I came back full circle to what I started with. I might just eventually off-set it and make it into a baby quilt.
I felt I needed to stick to my unfinished project list.
It’s neatly stored…again.
I have another I’m going to give a go on. These are the blocks from my Ten make Two bee that haven’t seen the light of day in awhile.
Each came to me a different size. Which forces me to think outside the block I guess. I have a few ideas and this might become the picnic quilt I’ve been wanting.
And thanks for all the kind words about my HST Love Quilt. I love it too!

You’ll know it when the right idea comes along. Way to play it cool.
Designing a quilt as you go is not always smooth sailing. Thank you for sharing your creative process, even the slow part of it. I can really relate to this. Some quilts spend more time “resting” than on the design wall.
Your colorful bee blocks looks like a lot of fun!
; )
Your start is beautiful but when you run out of steam, you run out of steam. Sometimes a little distance changes your perspective so good for you for not forcing yourself into something you’re not happy with.
Can’t wait to see what you do with the bee blocks!
Beautifull!, can i ask what linen you use and where from?
I think it’s waterford and I got it from Pink Chalk. Ask Kathy, she always reminds me which is thicker.
I love the blocks! They make me want to go play! 🙂
