::Now What?::

The Opposing Triangles came together beyond my dreams.

The bases certainly do not collide perfectly, but I gotta say they are impressively close!

I learned some things along the way that I would change next time.

I’d waste  just a bit more fabric to sash the triangles next time.  Then cut the sashing down so it surrounds the triangles evenly.

Next time I think I’ll scrappy strip piece the sashing on the triangles and make the triangles white.  The options are endless really.

For now I think I’ll put this aside to contemplate what it might need to finish off the design, but I think Cheryl’s right, straight down the middle for a twin bed.

I seem to be on a purple/green kick this summer, partly fueled by my kitchen window box I think.

I’m still pulling out Anything Goes Quilt here and there with no success, Opposing Triangles and it can snuggle up for a bit.

And then there was the purple and green colorway for Ara Jane’s baby quilt from the guild.

I’m moving on from purple and green and triangles to a scrappy and easy charm square quilt.

My brain needs a break.

    Whoops, I also meant to say that I actually like the white part the way it is (is that what you meant when you were talking about the sashing?). I think it’s cool how it tapers and thought that was a deliberate design choice. 😀

    1. I do want the white sashing to taper, just more evenly next time. I like it that way too! xo

    1. Thanks. I love it and figured out the kinks for next time. Although with book edit and new job quilting is sadly pushed to the side. Do some extra cuddles with that little one…now I’m missing it!
