Yikes, we had unexpected company from Alaska this weekend, the most fun class on Saturday at Drygoods, plus Seahawks to watch and here I am last minute to do the class line-up for the week!
I’m not really sure what this says about me, but I was cracking up this morning that we have a copy of The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People essentially unread in our bathroom. I did read it once in college and hope I’m applying some of it, because I can’t remember a single habit.
Cheers to forging ahead in 2013!

i met you in the whole cloth class @ the quilting loft… i was the oldest student with the japanese fabric ‘quilted’ with french knots…do you remember me?
if you have some time at the end of this month or at the beginning of feb. i would love to spend time with you…after sewing for 45 years, there are things that i’ve seen for the first time in your class. i’d like to really learn them, and have them in my muscle memory.
when you have a minute, i’d love to hear from you katie! happy new year!!! xox jodi wes
Hi Jodi! I do remember you. Have you thought of coming to the open sew at Drygoods? That would be fun for starting you on a new project. If you want something individual just let me know what you’d like to learn and what days work for you, otherwise I would love to see you in a class.
xo katie
Hi,
I am a hand quilter. Would it be okay for me to come to open sew? All I need is a chair and good lighting.
Thanks,
Molly
We would love to have you! You might be teaching me rather than me teaching you. See you Wednesday I hope.
I found it so inspiring when you quit your job to do what you love, and I think you sound so happy now. And your work is gorgeous.
Thanks Jennifer! It’s been fun and made the holidays way easier to handle with childcare! xo
