Congrats to Beth for winning the giveaway copy of First Steps to Free-Motion Quilting. Beth sweetly said, “I love your creative upcycling of an existing abandoned project.”
Thanks to Christina of A Few Scraps for writing such a fabulous book. Be sure to go to her blog and sign up for posts to be delivered directly to your inbox to keep the free-motion juices flowing.
On the home front I’ve got loads of projects in all sorts of disarray, but some are coming along.

$160/Dates (Four sessions): Tuesdays, October 15th, 22nd, 29th and November 5th from 5pm to 9pm at Drygoods Design.
I’m off to quilt for the day. Hoping to be productive!
Where can I find the pattern for the quilt you are making in the Welcome to Quilting class? Since I live in Los Angeles, attending the class is out, but I love the simplicity of this pattern.
There is no pattern. Go take a class on creating half square triangles and then draw yourself the design on graph paper filling in the colors.
Good luck!
