HST LOVE

Daredevil

SEW KATIE DID

I can’t get enough of this poppy red color this year.  You’ll be seeing it in some new projects for sure, including the linen closet at the end of our hallway I painted ‘Daredevil.’

I’m enjoying a good clean up and putter around the house after a wonderful summer with the family.  Only a matter of weeks before a new season of lectures and workshops will take me traveling.

Happy Monday Peeps;)

It is actually a sheet set I bought from Garnet Hill last year. I love it too!

Hello. I love your posts and quilts that you do. I am looking at buying my first quilting/embroidery sewing machine. I was hoping to stay around $1,000. Do you have any machines that you would recommend? I was looking at a Pfaff and the brother se400. Should I buy from a shop instead of online? Thank you for your time, Chrystal Opheim Date: Mon, 17 Aug 2015 21:15:22 +0000 To: chrystal_opheim@hotmail.com

I think the Juki 2010 or the brother 5000 would suit your needs. I don’t know the other machines though. I’d just go to the dealer and try them all out! Happy hunting;)

I love the red color too. Just curious but what does the rest of the quilt look like? Looking at the small area really makes me want to see the whole quilt.

I LOVE these colors and this fabric. I just posted a you tube video my mom found from 24 blocks on making a great book pillow and your flair for color and fabric would make some great pillows. Inspiring.

Love the Daredevil paint! I’m a warm colour person so this type of colour always cheers me up. I imagine it will do the same for you during winter.
