Beginning Sewing 101 | Reversible Bag | July & August Workshop

This reversible bag pattern is the perfect project for learning basic sewing skills while getting cozy with a sewing machine.  We’ll cover and refine, cut, pin, sew, snip, press, and repeat so that you can walk away with a finished bag that suites your style.
Pattern and material purchased separately. Â Information will be provided upon sign up. Â Discount code will be provided for pattern. Â Studio provides sewing machines, thread and necessary tools.
If no date is listed please sign up for a date that works for you through the Open Studios schedule and put ‘bag’ in the notes at checkout.
Only a full payment secures your space in a class and/or open studio. Payments are non-refundable. Please note: Students who cancel 72 hours or more prior to a class may transfer 100% of payment funds to the next available session or to another class/open studio ONE time. We will make every effort to accommodate a reschedule of this nature.
No refund or exchange will be given for late cancellations (71 hours or less) or no shows. Sorry, we are not able to make exceptions. This ensures that other students on a waiting list for spots in full classes have not missed an opportunity.
If a date was scheduled specifically for you there are no cancellations or transfers.

Improvisational quilt design doesn’t have to be complicated, especially if you know some simple techniques.
We'll master improvisational techniques like strip and angle piecing to help you quickly create and design a unique modern quilt top loosely based on a traditional coin quilt design.
Constructing a quilt to your perfect size will be covered.
This is a one session workshop. Â Schedule additional Open Studios to finish your quilt top as needed or to cover quilting, backing and binding. Â
