Quilt As You Go Bins- Learn to Sew | April Beginner Workshop

Quilt As You Go is a fun technique to get comfy with a machine. Â Learn the basics of cut, sew, and press while creating a useful bin. Â Use the studio’s scraps or your own stash to make one or two. Â Take this skill home and apply it to making pouches, potholders, drawstring bags, pillows and other quilted gifts.
A basic supply list will be emailed or purchase a studio kit $10.
Cancellation Policy
Only a full payment secures your space in a class and/or open studio. Payments are non-refundable. Please note: Students who cancel 72 hours or more prior to a class may transfer 100% of payment funds ONCE to the next available session or to another class/open studio. We will make every effort to accommodate a reschedule of this nature.
No refund or exchange will be given for late cancellations (71 hours or less) or no shows. Sorry, we are not able to make exceptions. This ensures that other students on a waiting list for spots in full classes have not missed an opportunity.

Perfecting Quilt Bindings Workshop
Ready to bind a quilt, but feeling a little intimidated? Â Or maybe you're wanting to add some piecing, faux binding or flange and need some hand holding?
I've got all sorts of tips and tricks to make it an easy and enjoyable step in your quilt making process. Â We'll cover creating our binding strips using a technique that eliminates drawing lines or pinning. Â We'll machine sew it on, again without pinning while creating corners to be proud of. Â We'll perfect an invisible or chunky stitch to finish sewing the binding down to your quilt's back. Â You'll have an enjoyable excuse to sit on the couch and binge watch favorite tv shows.
**Binding on the bias will not be covered in this workshop.  Please contact the studio to schedule if wanting to learn this binding technique**
